To apply, you need to pass a secondary and higher secondary or equivalent examination from the science department with a minimum GPA of 4.50. Both exams must have a minimum GPA of 4.0 in Mathematics and Physics. English medium students must have an A grade in at least three of the six subjects and a B grade in two subjects at O level. Other Qualifications

Candidates must be between 18 and 21 years of age on January 1, 2023. However, in case of candidates working in the Armed Forces, the age limit should be between 18 to 23 years on that date. In case of male candidates, the minimum height should be 5 feet 4 inches, weight 50 kg, chest size should be 30 inches in normal condition and 32 inches in extended condition. In case of female candidates, minimum height is 5 feet 2 inches, weight is 48 kg, chest size is 26 inches in normal condition and 30 inches in extended condition. Disqualification
Dismissed or removed from the Army / Navy / Air Force or any other government service, twice screened out / rejected in the ISSB exam, convicted by any court and incomplete, defective and multiple applications in one name will be considered rejected.

Selection method
Candidates will be selected through initial health examination and interview from the applicant candidates and written test on their intelligence, English skills and general knowledge will be taken. Primary health examination and interview may be held in Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna centers from 22nd to 26th May and written examination may be held on 28th May. Candidates who pass the written test will be examined by the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) in Dhaka Cantonment. Training / Commission
The final selected candidates will be given regular commission in the post of Sub Lieutenant in Bangladesh Navy after completing 10 years training at Bangladesh Military Academy and 16 months as Officer Cadet and 16 months as Midshipman at Bangladesh Naval Academy.

In addition to professional training at the Naval Academy, cadets in the executive branch will be awarded BSc (Hons) in Maritime Science and cadets in the supply branch will be awarded BBA degrees from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
